Hosting and access data
This public portfolio is hosted through ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI Ireland Ltd., Ireland, using infrastructure providers including Cloudflare. Technical request data may include IP address, access time, requested URL, browser/device information and response status. Processing supports delivery, stability and protection against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in a secure, functioning professional portfolio. No visitor account is required.
Recipients and international transfers
OpenAI and its infrastructure subprocessors may receive technical access data. Processing outside the EU/EEA, including in the USA, is possible; EU-only hosting is not guaranteed. The applicable ChatGPT Sites data processing addendum provides for adequacy decisions under Article 45 GDPR or standard contractual clauses under Article 46 GDPR for transfers. The linked addendum explains these safeguards; copies or further information can be requested using the contact above.
Storage duration
Technical access data is retained to the extent and for as long as necessary to operate and secure the hosting service, investigate incidents or comply with legal obligations, and is then deleted or anonymised. The hosting provider controls its operational log retention; a fixed site-specific period has not been provided. This portfolio does not maintain its own visitor database.
Contact by email or telephone
If you contact me, I process your contact details and the content of your enquiry to respond. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a contract or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Email and telecommunications providers process data necessary for transmission and storage. Correspondence is deleted when the enquiry is resolved and no further need for retention exists, unless statutory retention duties or legal claims require longer storage. Providing information is voluntary; without contact details I may be unable to respond.
Cookies and analytics
The portfolio code uses no analytics or advertising scripts, and does not set cookies or store a visitor identifier. Images, fonts and prototype recordings are served with the website. Any strictly necessary technologies used by hosting infrastructure serve delivery and security; where applicable, Section 25(2) TDDDG applies. YouTube is optional and subject to the separate consent described below.
Optional YouTube videos
Preview images are served locally. No YouTube player is loaded until you explicitly choose “Agree & load YouTube video”. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Loading the player transmits technical data such as IP address and device information to Google; playback can generate usage data and use cookies or similar storage even on youtube-nocookie.com. Processing, including possible transfers to the USA, is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for device storage/access, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Google describes retention and international-transfer safeguards in its privacy policy. Consent applies only to the selected player and is not stored for future visits. You can withdraw it at any time using “Unload YouTube video”; this stops further player connections but does not undo previous processing. Refusal does not affect access to the portfolio.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Articles 15–20 GDPR). You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reasons relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future; prior lawful processing remains unaffected. Please use the contact above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, particularly in your place of residence, work or the alleged infringement. The authority at my location is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
